Investment Management

The investment management team consists of 5 experienced managers and is supported by a team of 10 research analysts and a dealing desk of 3. All discretionary management activities are performed in house giving the company total control over these important activities.

Hilary Coghill - Chief Investment Officer

Hilary initially qualified as a Physiologist/Pharmacologist and spent several years in medical research with leading pharmaceutical companies in the UK. For the last fifteen years she has worked in the investment management area with particular specialisation in collective investments, both unit and investment trust vehicles as well as offshore products. Well known in the City she is frequently quoted in the financial press on a wide range of investment issues.

David Willcox - Investment Director

David joined City Asset in 2004 specialising in research into Small Cap, and Property Investments. He has more recently taken responsibility for developing and managing the Small Cap (AIM) portfolio for the firm. Prior to joining CAM he managed a family office owned firm, specialising in property asset management and legal and tax advice for high net worth individuals.

Eric Woodward - Senior Consultant, Investments

Eric joined the CAM team in 2006. He has over thirty years experience in the industry, initially in the insurance sector and since 1976 as principal of his own firm offering discretionary investment management services and pension advice with an emphasis on SIPP's.
