Hilary spent a number of years with leading pharmaceutical companies as a medical researcher. For the last twenty years she has worked in investment management, specialising in collective investments, offshore products and trust vehicles.

James joined City Asset from Baring Asset Management where he managed several funds in his role as Head of Multi-Manager. This was preceded by periods at Berry Asset Management as their Head of Fund Research and BestInvest as a Senior Fund Research Analyst.

David Willcox

Investment Director

David joined City Asset in 2004. He specialises in property investment research and manages the firm’s Small Cap (AIM) portfolio. He previously managed a family office owned firm who specialise in property asset management.

Mike has almost 30 years experience of managing investment portfolios for high net worth individuals, their trusts, pension funds and charities across all investment regimes and asset classes on behalf of both UK and international investors. In recent years he has focussed in particular on absolute return strategies and fixed income markets.

Matt has over 25 years experience of managing investment portfolios for high net worth individuals, their trusts, pension funds and charities across all investment regimes and asset classes. Prior to joining the business, Matt was the Head of Private Clients (London and South East) for Sanlam Private Investments (UK) Ltd. Prior to that he was a main board director at Principal Investment Management Ltd.

Investment Director

Stephen has spent over 25 years in Financial Services having started his career with the Bradford & Bingley before moving to lead the Financial Services division at the Cumberland Building Society. Prior to joining City Asset Management in 2016, he was Head of Investment Management and an Executive Director of Brewin Dolphin PLC. He is a Chartered Wealth Manager and also holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Designation. He is a Non-Executive Director at Hertfordshire Catering Limited and sits on the Finance Committee for the Royal Hospital for Neuro-Disability.

Denise joined City Asset Management in 2008 having graduated with a MSc in International Business Economics from City University and a BA (Hons) Degree in Economics and French from UCC. She holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) Diploma. Denise has specific research responsibilities for fixed income.

Duggie Hawkins

Duggie Hawkins

Investment Manager

Duggie started his career in 2007 and has covered a combination of research and client responsibilities. He holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC), the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) Investment Advice Diploma, and graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Management from Loughborough University. He has also passed all three levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program. Duggie has specific research responsibilities for US and Global Equities.
