Managing Director

Vivian, a qualified accountant, had over 20 years experience in industry and commerce both in the UK and overseas, before founding City Asset Management in 1988. He worked at a senior level in a variety of companies ranging from household name multi-nationals to smaller single-country based firms. As well as being responsible for overall company management, Vivian’s technical expertise embraces most aspects of financial planning including investment management.

Chief Investment Officer

Hilary spent a number of years with leading pharmaceutical companies as a medical researcher. For the last twenty years she has worked in investment management, specialising in collective investments, offshore products and trust vehicles.

Mike Trillwood

Mike Trillwood

Operations Director

Mike joined the company in 1994 to support the Administration function and was promoted to Operations Director in 1999. Mike previously held a number of positions in the Financial Services Industry having worked in the IFA sector directly as well as for American Express and Guardian Royal Exchange. Mike leads a team covering all aspects of Administration as well as being responsible for the IT function.

Helen Angove

Business Development Director

Helen entered the securities industry in 1986 with stockbrokers Allied Provincial becoming an Associate Director in 1993. She holds the CISI Diploma, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments. Helen joined City Asset Management in 2003 and was involved in the management of portfolios containing direct equities and collectives. Having developed CAM's discretionary management service for SIPP's and offshore bonds working extensively with IFA's, she joined the board of directors in 2007 with specific responsibility for new business development.

James Calder

James Calder

Research Director

James joined City Asset from Baring Asset Management where he managed several funds in his role as Head of Multi-Manager. This was preceded by periods at Berry Asset Management as their Head of Fund Research and BestInvest as a Senior Fund Research Analyst.

David Willcox

David Willcox

Investment Director

David joined City Asset in 2004. He specialises in Property Investment research and manages the firm’s Small Cap (AIM) portfolio. He previously managed a family office owned firm who specialise in property asset management.

Andrew Grier

Chief Executive City Wealth Planning

Andrew has more than 25 years experience of providing independent financial planning and structuring advice to his clients. He has worked with a wide range of organisations including, leading accountancy practice KPMG, the international insurance broker Marsh McLennan and both Cazenove Capital Management and Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander in fund management and private banking.
