How We Work

We believe the fundamental ingredient in successful wealth management is the personal relationship between the company and client based on face-to-face meetings, regular and informed advice, and a single source of primary contact. Our client relationship is formed in the following way:

Initial Meeting

When taking on a new portfolio, an initial meeting is held with the client to understand the facts about their financial resources, personal goals and attitude to risk. We use this to help the client decide suitable objectives for their investment portfolio which, when agreed, form the basis of the investment strategy for that client. At this stage tax planning aspects are given a high degree of attention.

Portfolio Management

From the first meeting each client's portfolio is the primary responsibility of a single fund manager who knows the client personally, is aware of their objectives and circumstances and manages their money.

Communications

Each client receives a six monthly portfolio valuation with transaction and income schedules. Clients also receive a regular Investment Commentary informing them of our views with respect to current market conditions. We also encourage active discussions with their manager whenever they wish. The investment managers also ensure that there is regular contact, usually through face-to-face meetings, at clients' homes or at our offices.

Liaison With Other Advisers

We are able to work with our clients' existing arrangements by liaising with their accountant, financial adviser or other professionals if this is appropriate.
