New Identity Verification Process for Company Directors

From 18 November, the Government has introduced a new process for all UK company directors to verify their identity. This is part of a wider initiative to combat financial crime and provide greater transparency introduced by the Economic Crime and Financial Fraud Act 2023. The rule requires a short procedure to be completed electronically via the YouGOV portal.  Whilst there is a 12 month transition period, the grace only lasts until an existing director files their next annual confirmation so please follow the link below if you believe this rule may apply to you to find out more.
