Report Fraud
On 4 December 2025, the City of London Police launched Report Fraud. This new service replaces Action Fraud as the national platform for reporting cyber crime and fraud. Report Fraud encompasses a new online reporting tool and contact centre, together with an updated system of analysing reports of fraud and the existing victim support system. This provides useful practical advice to anyone who has been the subject of a cyber-crime or fraud.
Members of the public can report cyber-crime and fraud at reportfraud.police.uk or by calling 0300 123 2040. You can find full details at: UK's Home for Reporting Cyber Crime & Fraud - Report Fraud.
Remember that you should never have to pay a fee for reporting a crime and be careful when you share any personal data with individuals if you have been the victim of an email hacking incident or other crime. We do continue to experience high levels of email crime so please make sure that you have secure, complex passwords in place.
