Welcome to our latest newsletter.
Many of you will be concerned about the budget announced by the Chancellor on Wednesday. I want to assure you that we are closely considering all the provisions that were announced and the impact upon you and your finances. We have included an overview of the budget in this newsletter, providing a summary of every aspect of the package of measures. Over the coming week, we will be offering you a more detailed analysis of how the changes will impact you directly. Whether you prefer to access information via video or in written form, we will be emailing you with our own considered views on what the changes mean. We will also be sharing our expectations of the impact on markets and the performance of your portfolio.
Taking a step back from Rachel Reeves’ news, this newsletter includes a wide variety of articles intended to inform and support you and your family and friends. These range from an article focusing on the European equity market and the recent spike in romance scams. We always welcome your ideas for articles that you would like to see in future copies of the newsletter and invite you to view our 2025 Year in Review, including much of the content that we have provided in the past 12 months, available on our website in early January.
The move to our new custodian and administrator, Third Financial, has been successful. We hope that you will notice the benefits of the improved service that we are able to offer you. A reminder that the date of our valuation reports will be changing, effective 31 December 2025. The reports will now be produced as of 31 March, 30 June, 30 September, and 31 December each year. You can access all reports via our portal, YourCAM. We continue to add additional performance features and are working hard on development ideas. I am aware of the challenges that you may have faced with accessing YourCAM since the transition to Third Financial due to changes that were needed to enable our portal to interact with the data provided by Third Financial. We have provided links to videos that can support you in this newsletter and welcome your feedback on improvements.
Finally, I am delighted to announce that our team won the award for AIM portfolio service at the Growth Investor Awards. I would like to thank you for your support over the past 21 years and look forward to the future for David, Matt and Tom and their clients.
