Client Newsletter, June 2026

Welcome to our second newsletter of 2026.

While global events continue to make headlines in the UK, many of us will be focusing more closely on sporting news over the coming weeks. We look forward to light-hearted banter over tennis matches and football players to replace the gloomier headlines that have shadowed the year so far. We want to reassure you that portfolios have withstood some of the most volatile days in markets that we have seen since COVID and that the team remain positive that the UK will avoid a recession. Brighter, sunnier days are ahead.

We recently launched our latest client feedback survey, and I strongly encourage you to complete this, if you have not already done so. Your views are important to us and the survey has been organised by our independent marketing consultant, so your anonymity is assured. We are donating to the Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice and the British Red Cross for each entry received. You can also enter our prize draw to win a Fornum’s Hamper, perfect for the summer picnics ahead.

On a more serious note, we all continue to experience a high number of incidents of attempted email hacking. If you suspect that something is wrong at your end, please contact us - we have a strong process to ensure that your portfolio and your data remain safe. The encrypted messaging system in YourCAM offers you peace of mind when sending and receiving confidential information. If you would like to find out more about this, please contact CISTeam@city-asset.co.uk

Lastly, as we head into the latter half of 2026, we will be shortly delivering tax reports for the year 2025/26. The move to our new custodian, Third Financial, has been a great success. However, in consequence of the move, our tax reports are split this year, from both Third and PSL. We have produced a summary to help you but please reach out to the team if you need any additional information.

With best wishes,

Nick Coghill
