Welcome to our first newsletter of 2023

The chain of events that unfolded during 2022 was nothing short of extraordinary. From the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, to that now infamous September mini-budget, I think we were all pleased to take some time to relax and reflect over the Christmas holidays. It also gave us time to digest the feedback from the recent Customer Satisfaction Survey. We are extremely grateful for all the feedback received, and will be sharing a summary with you in due course.

While we include a short recap of 2022 in this newsletter, we have plenty of forward-looking content to help you prepare for 2023 and beyond. From advice on how to make good financial decisions, an analysis of pension withdrawals and a useful guide to avoid becoming a victim of fraud, we hope some of these pieces will be of interest.

While there's no substitute for one-to-one advice, we hope the news and insights we've selected to share this quarter are useful and help you organise your finances.
